Color me pessimistic, but I’ve always thought Judge Judy was about as real as professional wrestling. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not entertaining and it certainly wasn’t the other day. A friend on Facebook shot me a link to this video from a recent Judge Judy episode that features Kate Levitt, a musician from the experimental band Teeth Mountain. Since IGIF is in-tune with the Baltimore music scene, I was intrigued from the beginning but did not expect to laugh so much. Apparently this dude, Jonathan Coward (Twitter), got wastey faced and started throwing televisions around Levitt’s apartment.. one of them landing on top of and KILLING her cat. The best part comes after Judge Judy delivers her verdict and they interview the two of them outside the court room (6:45 mark) – some true comedic gems there.
